It has been reported that two out of the three columns of the terrorist junta army attacking the territories controlled by the Arakan Army (AA) close to Kyaukphyu have been crushed. The remaining column has been reinforced and is advancing towards Thaing Chaung village with increased strength, supported by air, naval, and ground artillery.

Previously, the Myanmar terrorist military regime conducted three separate offensives against the Arakan Army (AA).

The first column was moving towards Kulaba village from the area of Thit Pote, which is where the Dhanyawaddy Naval Base is located. The second column was making its way to Chaung Wa village from the Gone Chwein area, while the third column was made up of soldiers gathered from Police Battalion (32).

Currently, the Thit Pote Taung and Gone Chwein front lines have suffered extensive damage due to attacks by the AA. This has led to the creation of a unified group made up of remaining soldiers from different columns and battalions of the 32nd Police Combat Battalion, which is a crucial military base located in Kyaukphyu.
