Some individuals who were displaced from Gwa Township, the southernmost area in Arakan (Rakhine) state near Ayeyarwady Division, have returned to their homes after fleeing the conflict, even though they remain fearful of airstrikes. Nonetheless, it is difficult for them to remain away from their residences for an extended period.

A woman who is an internally displaced person mentioned, "Aircraft also fly overhead here on a daily basis. Every day. However, over time, it is not comfortable in other places. It is a situation in which they can live a little better than before; therefore, we are coming back. If you ask if there’s any concern. Yes, there is."

On November 2, certain internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Gwa Township returned to their residences, and it was reported that support was provided by the ULA administration and the Department of Law Enforcement and Public Security (DLEPS).
