The National Unity Government (NUG)

• Independent Myanmar Journalists Association-IMJA presented their suggestion paper on press freedom in Myanmar to the National Unity Consultative Council.

• The CDM doctor team led by the Deputy Minister of Health-NUG successfully conducted surgery on a child suffering from hydrocephalus.

• In Bago Region, there was an attack on the junta’s inspection gate on Nyaunglebin-Shwekyin Road on Friday. According to No. (2) Operation Area, 2 junta soldiers died and weapons were confiscated.

• Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw strongly condemned the junta’s action of not allowing adequate healthcare to State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.

• Under Southern Shan State Strategic Area (14), People’s Defence Force (1004) completed their basic military training and reorganized their force on Friday.

• Ministry of Human Rights-NUG stated that the number of violence cases had increased after the junta’s announcement of their illegitimate election.
