The National Unity Government (NUG)

• On Friday night, Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that 3 junta soldiers had died, 4 others had been caught alive and some weapons had been confiscated in a local battle near Chaung Ma Village in Kani Township of Sagaing Region.

• U Min Ko Naing, an 88 Generation student leader, called for public contribution to buy bullet-proof vests as comrades from Bago District Force (2) under the People’s Defence Force Strategic Regiment (25) are in urgent need of them.

• In Kani Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack on the junta troop which had retreated from the battle in Chaung Ma Village. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and 2 weapons were confiscated.

• In Kyaukdagar Township of Bago Region, a conscripted soldier for the junta’s Natthangwin Camp, brought a gun and defected to Bago District Force (2).

• Under Shan-Karenni Military Region, Wolf Column under Mobye PDF completed refreshers’ training and equipped the comrades with uniforms.

• Under Ministry of Defence-NUG, the Drone Force of Naypyidaw stated that their comrades have been fighting somewhere in the frontline battlefield.

• Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4.1 had hit the northwest of Pyin Oo Lwin of Mandalay Region at 8:20 pm Friday.

• In Paungty Township of Bago Region, Aye Min Tun, a member of Pyusawti Militia in Panthinbin Village, was shot dead, according to Pyi District PDF (3601).
