The National Unity Government (NUG) 

• In Taung Thar Township of Mandalay Region, there were local battles for two consecutive days. According to Nyaung-U Township People’s Defence Force, 5 junta soldiers died and 2 others were caught alive. 

• In a roundtable discussion of Kabaw Brotherhood Campaign, the PDF members of Tamu District PDF asserted that they will make an effort to seize Tamu Town on the border of Myanmar and India within 2025 and they have started their operation. 

• On Wednesday, the NUG stated that they had set 6 strategies and implemented them to achieve 6 strategic objectives of the people’s revolution. 

• In Magway Region, a conscripted soldier for the junta army based in Salin Township ran away and defected to the Minbu District PDF (5). 

• According to Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG, there might be rainfalls throughout the country within 24 hours starting from April 30 due to the air currents moving from the northeast and southwest. 

• The Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG released the lists of their support to 15,231 households in 46 earthquake-hit townships.
