Myanmar requests Bangladesh to send election observers

Reports indicate that the Myanmar junta has contacted Dhaka, seeking election monitors for the forthcoming election organized by the military government.
This election is not recognized by the global community, including the United Nations.
Despite the request, Bangladesh has not responded.
