The National Unity Government (NUG)
According to Union Minister of Foreign Affairs-NUG Daw Zin Mar Aung, the Foreign Minister of New Zealand accepted the decision of their Parliament and stated that Myanmar junta’s election is just a sham and it is necessary for the military junta to release the political prisoners.
In Magway Region, Pauk Township People’s Defence Force arrested 2 junta soldiers who had run away with weapons from the junta’s Regiment (99) invading the area from Seik Phyu Township.
Under Ministry of Defence-NUG, the PDFs strengthened their forces up to the Naga Area.
Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that even just a reaction such as ‘Like’ and ‘Love’ on social media posts against the junta’s election could end up in imprisonment in Myanmar.
In Taungthar, Mandalay Region, the revolution forces conducted simultaneous attacks on the junta’s gates in town. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died and the junta army retreated.
