AA Releases 30 Prisoners of War and Civilian Detainees in Paletwa Township

The Arakan Army (AA) has released 30 prisoners of war, including police officers, and civilian detainees in Paletwa Township this morning under an amnesty, according to sources.



The Arakan Army (AA) released 16 junta soldiers as prisoners of war, one police officer, along with 5 of their family members and 8 civilian detainees.



Among those released are also members of the Khumi ethnic group. The released individuals have expressed their gratitude to the Arakan Army (AA), stating that throughout their detention period, AA officials took special care of their health and all other needs.
