The quest for three villagers from Kinchaung, including a 10-year-old girl, who were taken by the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) from Kinchaung village in southern Maungdaw Township along the western border, has been continuing for approximately ten days; however, the villagers informed Narinjara News that they remain unfound.

The individuals who have been abducted are Ma Nyein Sandar, a 10-year-old student in the fourth grade; Maung Htun Aye, aged 22; and U Ba Htun, aged 40.

On the morning of October 24, ARSA kidnapped the three individuals while they were traveling to the old Sinma Khat village, located approximately half a mile east of Kinchaung village, to tend to cattle.

The residents and security personnel of the Arakan Army (AA) have been conducting searches in the Mayu mountain, but as of now, they have not discovered any evidence, stated the abbot of Kinchaung village.

“The AA and the local residents have been conducting searches nearly every day; however, they have not discovered any trace. According to the monk, it has been ten days since the ARSA terrorist group took three villagers from Kinchaung, including a fourth-grade girl, while they were tending to cattle on November 2,” the monk said.
