The National Unity Government (NUG)

· According to Military Region (1) under Ministry of Defence-NUG, 4 junta soldiers died and 7 prisoners of war including an Indian Kathe rebel were caught in the battles in Kalay Township in early September.

· In an interview with PVTV on the fourth anniversary of the People’s Defensive War, Union Minister of Defence-NUG stated that it is no longer possible to regard the junta army hated by the public as the country’s military since the junta armed forces have conducted violence and killed people over the period of the revolution.

· Union Minister of Defence-NUG stated that they have had barriers in acquiring weapons as a superpower country has been interfering with Myanmar’s internal affairs and pressuring ethnic armed forces. Despite this, they have been preparing for the procurement of weapons for the General Offensive and seeking ways to supply military items such as drones and jammers.

· On Tuesday, the opening ceremony of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly was conducted. Present on the occasion was a Myanmar delegation led by Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun.
