The National Unity Government (NUG)

In Shwe Kyin Township of Bago Region, the combined revolutionary forces seized the junta’s Ka-Ma-Ya (598) in Nyaung Chay Taut Village. According to Ministry of Defence-NUG, 83 weapons were confiscated.

On Saturday, the NUG, the National Unity Consultative Council and the Committee against Fake Elections released a joint statement, calling for protests against the political parties registered for the junta’s illegitimate and superficial election.

The Second Commander of Southern Military Region stated that the members of People’s Defence Forces are to avoid the words and manners which could harm the unity with alliances.

In Yay Township of Mon State, there was a guerrilla attack on junta troops on their way for a area clearance operation. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers including a captain died.
