One dead as Myanmar junta jet bombs a village in Pale township

A man was killed and two others were injured when a military junta fighter jet bombed Chin Pyit village, about 20 miles north of Pale Township in Sagaing Region, according to local residents.
The airstrike occurred around 11 am on 30 October, when the jet dropped bombs twice near the village entrance, residents said.
“Bombs fell by the ditch near the bridge at the entrance of the village. A man who was selling petrol on a motorcycle was killed, and two others were injured,” a Chin Pyit villager told Mizzima.
The deceased, who had been carrying kerosene on his motorcycle, died instantly, while two other villagers suffered severe injuries. One house was also destroyed in the blast.
According to local reports, the Military Commission’s forces have carried out at least three airstrikes on Chin Pyit village in Pale Township, resulting in two civilian deaths and multiple injuries to date.
