Myanmar Regime Ramps Up Deadly Airstrikes on Civilians in Rakhine

The military regime has launched a dozen airstrikes since Thursday on civilian targets in Rakhine State’s Ponnagyun and Thandwe townships, including the famous beach resort of Ngapali.

The attacks killed three civilians including a pregnant woman and injured 27 others.

In the latest attack, the military deployed two fighter jets at around 6 a.m. on Monday to drop at least four 500-lb bombs around Yoe Ngu on the Kaladan River in Ponnagyun, local outlet Narinjara News reported citing witnesses.
