Pro-democracy groups from Myanmar and international organizations launched a “Sham Election Tracker,” to monitor and document regime election-related human rights violations at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand (FCCT) in Bangkok on Dec. 10.

“People of Myanmar do not accept the regime’s elections. That’s why we will expose all information about the elections,” Pai, a member of the Sham Election Tracker Working Group established in October, said at the launch event.

Myanmar human rights activist Khin Ohmar, Special Advisory Committee for Myanmar (SAC-M) founding member Yanghee Lee, and Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL) analyst Amael Vier, spoke at the FCCT launch of the “Sham Election Tracker.”
