Military Commission Airstrikes Anjanapura Three Times; One Man Injured

Military Commission troops launched three separate airstrikes on the Zee Taung Paing ward in Anjanapura Town, Anjanapura District, Arakan, this morning, injuring a 50-year-old man.

The Military Commission forces carried out the air attacks around midnight on September 27 first at 12:10 AM, second at 12:21 AM, and third at 12:27 AM totaling three strikes.

The injured victim was identified as 50-year-old U Khin Maung, son of U Phyu Aung, residing in the Zee Taung Paing ward of Anjanapura Town.

He sustained severe injuries to his right heel, left heel, right arm, left arm, and multiple shrapnel wounds across his body, and is currently receiving medical treatment.

During the bombing, one bomb exploded in front of the residences of U Maung Khine and U Saw Hla, located in the alley behind the Zee Taung Paing ward administrator's house, though no casualties were reported from that specific blast. Another bomb reportedly landed and exploded near the Kyat Sin Bridge area.

Earlier, on September 21 at around 12:40 PM, a Military Commission fighter jet circled over Anjanapura Town before dropping bombs on the mountain range east of Thit Poke Taung Village.

Additionally, on May 7 around 2:00 PM, troops bombed the mountain ranges near Thit Poke Taung and Kyauk Khote villages using three jet fighters and two Y-12 aircraft.

Since September 3, the terrorist Military Commission forces have repeatedly conducted air and drone strikes across most townships in Arakan, causing civilian casualties and damage to religious buildings.
