One person died and at least 10 were injured due to landmine explosions in Mon State in 2024, according to reports from local sources.
Landmine explosion incidents have occurred at least eight times in Thanbyuzayat Township, and at least once in Kyaikto, Kyaikmaraw and Ye townships.
