Following the AA's takeover of Set Set Yo village on the border of Lay Myet Hnar and Ye Kyi townships in the Ayeyarwady Region, a military source reported that intense conflict is now taking place between the Arakan Army (AA) and the junta troops.
Unable to resist the Arakan Army (AA) and allied forces' onslaught, the junta forces retreated from some positions that were stationed in the monastery of Set Set Yo and within the village.
The junta forces then joined the reinforcements and fought back AA, which resulted in fierce battles in the area around Set Set Yo village.
