151 more foreigners from KK Park detained

150 Indian nationals and one South Korean national were detained on October 26 after illegally entering Myanmar from border areas and committing online gambling and online fraud in the KK Park area of Myawaddy-Me Htaw Tha Lay, Kayin State,according to the Ministry of Immigration and Population.

The ministry said that the necessary documents are being collected by the relevant departments to ensure that the detained foreigners can be repatriated to their respective countries as soon as possible. A total of 9,964 foreigners who entered Myanmar illegally from January 30 to October 26 were detained and investigated.

Of these, 9,339 were transferred to their respective countries through Thailand in accordance with the procedures, and the remaining 625 foreigners are ready to be transferred to their respective countries.
