SSPC Chairman meets RTAF Chief

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met a delegation led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha at the Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of February 25.

During the meeting, they discussed the progress of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the two armed forces, the ongoing friendly visits and cooperation between the two armed forces and the air forces of the two countries, the holding of a multiparty democratic general election in Myanmar, the fact that the people voted enthusiastically during the election and that it was a successful election since there were no major objections to the election so far, the upcoming parliamentary elections, and the fact that the Tatmadaw is working to strengthen the multiparty democratic system desired by the people regardless of the change of political governments, as the Tatmadaw has not changed.
