The National Unity Government (NUG)

• Magway Federal Unit Hluttaw conducted their nineth meeting and adopted the interim management law for Magway Federal Unit.

• Bago Regional People’s Defence Force conducted surprise checks on freight boats, passenger motorboats, fishing boats, boats carrying sand and bamboo rafts along Sittaung River Basin due to a report of a junta operation.

• Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw called on neighbouring countries, the ASEAN, the United Nations and the international community to reject the result of the junta’s sham election.

• Under Ministry of Defence-NUG, Ruby Land PDF (Moegok Regiment 1) was extended.

• Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that the UN should not fail Myanmar people struggling due to the military junta.

• Near Yesagyo of Magway Region, there was a mine attack on the junta army on street patrol. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers including a captain died.
