The National Unity Government (NUG)
U Nay Phone Latt, the spokesperson of the Union Prime Minister Office-NUG, stated that the junta’s attempt to resume the Myitsone Dam Project is selling out the lifeblood and heart of the nation for their iron grip on power.
In Myothit Township, there was an attack on a car carrying the members of the junta’s Election Commission. According to Nay Pyi Taw Regional Command, 8 junta members including township police officer died.
In Thayet Township of Magway Region, about 500 junta soldiers conducted an offensive at Hsinkaw Camp, according to Thayet District Regiment (4).
In Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region, there was a clash between the junta army and the revolution force. Reportedly, 10 junta soldiers died.
In Paungty Township of Bago Region, there was a mine attack on a junta troop from Ka-Ma-Ya (10) based in Pauktaw Village on their way for clearance operation in the area. Reportedly, a junta soldier died and two others were injured.
Mandalay Interim Governing Council announced that they had met with the PDFs under the Pyin Oo Lwin District Command and the forces in Myingyan District.
