The National Unity Government (NUG)


  • In Pauk Township of Magway Region, the Myaing Township People’s Defence Force managed to shoot at a junta’s Mi-17 helicopter.

  • On the border of Pauk and Myaing in Magway Region, there was military tension on March 30 for Thayetkan Oil Field under the control of the Magway Local Defence Force and People’s Administration to be transferred to Ministry of Defence-NUG. After that, responsible personnel of the NUG met with the Interim Government of Magway Federal Unit. Reportedly, they agreed to set up the Magway Federal Unit Oil and Petroleum Products Supervision Team.

  • In Mon State, 2 conscripted soldiers from the junta’s Ka-La-Ya (343) brought 2 weapons and defected to Ye Guerrilla Force.

  • In Pauk Township of Magway Region, the revolution forces attacked the junta army on their way to local villages under Pyusawti Militia. Reportedly, 13 junta soldiers died.

  • In Tanintharyi Region, Kyungsu Township PDF built a bridge connecting villages in memory of a male comrade and a female comrade who had sacrificed their lives.

  • In Sagaing Region, three young people joining the junta’s refresher course defected to Kyaw PDF.

  • In Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army raided Phet Pin I Village. Reportedly, 2 PDF members lost their lives in the process of rescuing villagers including the elderly trapped in the area.
