The National Unity Government (NUG)


  • In Paukkaung Township of Bago Region, People’s Defence Force under Strategic Unit (21) conducted a mine attack on a junta convoy on mobile patrol. Reportedly, there were casualties in the incident.


  • In Hsinpaungwe Township of Magway Region, there was an attack on the junta army on patrol. Reportedly, 2 guns were confiscated.


  • In Salin Township with increased military momentum in Magway Region, the PDFs raided the junta’s departments in the town of Hsinphyugyun on Thursday, according to the NUG.


  • Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that the alliance of the PDFs had been constantly fighting the junta base camps in Magway Region.


  • On Nautmauk-Pyawbwe Old Road, the PDF fired at a car of 3 junta soldiers, who had driven away without being inspected. Reportedly, 2 junta members including an officer died.


  • In the military progress report for 2025 by the Ministry of Defence-NUG, it was mentioned that there were 7,139 battles between the junta army and the revolution forces in 2025, killing 9,549 junta soldiers.


  • The most significant progress of the PDF in 2025 was the strong establishment of Unified Command nationwide.


  • In Paukkaung Township of Bago Region, there was a mine attack on the junta army on their way to take security measures at the polling station in Bawdigone Village. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and 3 others were injured.


  • Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that the comrades of the PDFs had better military skills in 2025; from short guerrilla warfare to prolonged fighting to seize camps and towns.


  • The NUG and Mandalay Interim Governing Council discussed the matters regarding collection of taxes from untaxed extraction businesses of natural resources in the region and action plans for the swift victory of the revolution.
