The National Unity Government (NUG)
The Secretary of the Interim Board for Heritage Administration–NUG stated that they had informed the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization about the destruction of Gokteik Bridge.
On Thursday, the Interim Board for Heritage Administration-NUG expressed sorrow for the damage of Gokteik Bridge, a heritage site in Northern Shan State. They also strongly condemned the junta army which had destroyed it.
On Thursday, Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that the People’s Defence Force encompasses (10) military regions. They added that there had been a meeting of commanders from August 23 to 25 to defeat the military junta completely.
On behalf of the NUG and Myanmar people, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs-NUG sent a statement of appreciation to the King of Thailand and the Thai government for allowing Myanmar refugees at the temporary camps on the Thai-Myanmar border to work legally.
Ministry of Defence-NUG stated that there had been a meeting of PDF commanders from August 23 to 25.
