The National Unity Government (NUG)
On the 5th anniversary of the establishment of Mandalay People’s Defence Force, the resistance group stated that they would be reformed as the Special Movement Regiment under the Military Headquarters-NUG and they would continue to serve the revolution.
Mdy- PDF pledged that they would fight until the military dictatorship is uprooted.
In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, a captain from the junta army, which had been burning people’s houses, died in a local battle and weapons were confiscated.
Under Special Regional Command of the PDF, 3 new battalions were established.
At the time of the military junta trying to resume the Myitsone Dam Project in Kachin State, there was an earthquake with Richter Scale 5.5 near Moemauk and the public felt it noticeably, according to the NUG.
