The National Unity Government (NUG)

• In an interview with Korean SBS, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs-NUG Daw Zin Mar Aung stated that in addition to civil war, online scam operations in Myanmar have become a global threat, exposing refugees to more risks of human trafficking.

• The junta army has constantly conducted airstrikes targeting Sagaing Region. On Friday, Taze Township People’s Security Force called on the people not to make gathering and to make bomb shelters.

• In Letbadan Township of Bago Region, a soldier from the junta troop invading the area, along with weapons, defected to the People’s Defence Force.

• The Chair of Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw U Aung Kyi Nyunt stated that influential superpower countries have shown the junta’s election is not the answer and it lacks justice.

• In No. (2) Military Command of Bago Region, the PDF completed basic training on battlefield medical care.

• Ministry of Human Rights-NUG stated that Women and Children Protection training have been conducted in Sagaing Region and Magway Region as a movement for the International Human Rights Day.
