The National Unity Government (NUG)
In Wetlet and Khin-U townships of Sagaing Region, the Ministry of Human Rights-NUG conducted educational training on a Code of Conduct and International Humanitarian Law.
The National Unity Consultative Council released a declaration on the 5th anniversary of the adoption of Federal Democratic Charter. They called for following the provisions contained in the Charter faithfully with full responsibility and accountability.
On Tuesday, the Council on the Implementation of Tanintharyi Federal Unit expressed their support for the establishment of the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union (SCEF).
According to Ministry of Human Rights-NUG, a Union Human Rights Commission Bill was presented and discussed at the 2nd exchange of committees representing state, unit and regional Hluttaw.
The Interim Government of Sagaing Federal Unit stated that they would join hands with the SCEF and proceed until the victory of the revolution as quickly as possible.
In Chauk Township of Magway Region, there was an attack on the junta army raiding and burning local villages. Reportedly, 5 junta soldiers died whereas over 150 houses were burnt to ashes in 10 villages during the junta’s arson.
