• In Sagaing Region, the People’s Defence Forces carried out an attack on the Kanttalu Inspection Gate near the junta’s Ta-Ma-Ka Regiment (33) on Thursday night.

• Yezagyo Township PDF assassinated a local Pyusawti leader named Nga Linn, a nephew of a former general Soe Maung.

• The Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that there had been four fairly-strong earthquakes in Mandalay Region from January 1 to 17.

• In the combatant refresher course conducted by the Special Regional Command under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, Comrade Naung Yoe, a focal person of Yangon Regional PDF, provided political training.

• Bago Region People’s Defence Organization encouraged and supported the displaced in Bago Region.
