Spring Development Group (SDG) will host “Keep Their Dreams Alive” — Thadingyut Charity Concert 2026 online on 23 October to raise funds for an education campaign supporting 500 displaced children in Karenni State.

The concert will feature headline performances by Abnormal and Extant, featuring Oo Pan and Novem Htoo, with a special guest performance by The Circle, featuring Aung Myint Myat. The event will bring artists and audiences worldwide together through music to help children continue their education.

Conflict and prolonged displacement in Karenni have left families struggling to meet basic needs and maintain their livelihoods. With limited resources for school supplies and monthly education costs, support remains essential to keeping children in education.

“Every child has a dream. Yet for many displaced children in Karenni, those dreams have been put on hold as work has taken the place of the classroom. To help keep their educational dreams alive, we at South Shan State Kayah Liphu Youth launched the Keep Their Dreams Alive campaign on the SCF platform to provide education funding for 500 children in Karenni,” said a volunteer working on the ground.

Hosted on Spring Crowd Fund (SCF), the “Keep Their Dreams Alive” campaign aims to support 500 students each month, with education costs of MMK 20,000 per child per month. Running from 17 September to 31 October 2026, the campaign has a total fundraising target of MMK 50,000,000.

Revenue from ticket sales will support the staging of the concert and its participating artists, as well as fund donations to the campaign to help children continue their education.

The concert will take place on Zoom on 23 October 2026 at 7:00 PM Myanmar Time (UTC+6:30). Tickets cost THB 300, with payment also accepted in nine other currencies, and are available through Dolpha Pay, SDB Counter and Relationship Managers (RMs) accessible through the SDB app. SDG and the participating artists invite audiences to enjoy an evening of music while helping to keep children’s educational dreams alive.

As a Thadingyut gift of learning, the first 500 ticket buyers will each receive a Scholarship Coupon from the Spring Institute of FinTech. Recipients can use the coupon to study FinTech themselves or pass it on to a loved one as an educational gift. The initiative gives ticket buyers an opportunity to support children’s education while sharing learning opportunities with those close to them.
