The National Unity Government (NUG)

• In Thabaitgyin Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army conducted an attack via fighter jet on a displaced camp between Koemai Village and Lanlekyit Village at 9:48 am Thursday. According to Pyin Oo Lwin District People’s Defence Force, 2 people lost their lives whereas 9 others including a monk and 4 children were injured.

• In Nyaung Shwe and Pekone townships of Southern Shan State, Shan Defence Force (1) confiscated 4 guns and 2 attack drones in the invasion by the junta army and Pao-National Organization.

• The NUG stated that they would try their best to take legal action against all of those responsible for the junta’s war crimes and all the lobbyists covering up the truth.

• In Tanintharyi Region, a combined force of the PDFs attacked the junta’s gate of Pauktai Bridge on entrance to Dawei from 5:50 am to 6:50 am on May 7.
