The National Unity Government (NUG) 


  • In Sagaing Region, a woman comrade serving Yinmabin District Battalion (20) claims she had been sexually assaulted. Regarding it, the NUG stated that the commander, the second commander and the suspects were detained and investigated. They added that they would try their best to uncover the truth. 

  • On Thursday, Tamu District Command announced that the People’s Defence Forces in Tamu District of Sagaing Region had been each provided with a car for logistics. 

  • In Nyaung-U Township of Mandalay Region, the revolution forces conducted two attacks at close range on 2 junta troop contingents invading Ngathayauk Area. Reportedly, there were a large number of casualties among the junta soldiers. 

  • In a liberated area, the NUG met with the Interim Government of the Sagaing Federal Unit on Tuesday. Reportedly, they were able to reach an agreement on 9 points for Division of Competency. 

  • In Tigyaint Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army carried out aerial attacks for three consecutive days. According to Local People’s Administration Team, 6 monks lost their lives and so did 6 other people.
