The National Unity Government (NUG)

-The coordination committee against the junta’s illegitimate and sham election, consisting of the National Unity Consultative Council and the NUG, stated that the public’s participation in the Nationwide Silent Strike Movement on the International Human Rights Day had been a message to the world about their rejection of the junta’s election.

-The NUG appointed Deputy Minister Ja Htwe Pan as Minister of Education-NUG. Regarding it, the Council of Boards for Basic Education expressed their objection. In response, Yesagyo Township Education Board resigned from the Council and 33 Township Education Boards in Yangon Region also announced that they did not represent the CBBE in the objection.

-In Magway Region, Myaing People’s Defence Force completed their basic military training Batch (4) on December 11.

-In Minhla Township of Bago Region, a combined force of the PDFs attacked a junta inspection gate in Bantbwaygone Village on December 7.
