The National Unity Government (NUG)
-While carrying out superficial activities such as releasing prisoners, the military junta continues to conduct airstrikes targeting civilians. Consequently, 138 people lost their lives in April, according to Ministry of Human Rights-NUG.
-According to Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG, there might be rainfall all across Myanmar due to the momentum of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal.
-In Kawthaung Township, Local People’s Defence Force and Tanintharyi Regional PDF jointly carried out area clearance operation and anti-drugs activities.
-Emergency Prevention and Management Committee (Mandalay) reported that 72 people from 4 townships in Myingyan District lost their lives in April due to the junta army.
-In No. (2) Military Operation Area under the NUG, Thayarwaddy District Battalion (22) gave certificates of completion for Fighter Medic Training (1/2026).
-Union Resources Management Team of the NUG conducted a meeting on Sunday, according to Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation-NUG.
-In March, the Ministry of Human Rights-NUG provided training on Code of Conduct and International Humanitarian Law to the comrades and responsible personnel in Gantgaw Township of Magway Unit.
-At 9:00 am Saturday, the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration conducted a meeting with People’s Administration Teams from Yangon Region.
-In Pauk Township of Magway Region, revolutionary forces attacked a junta troop contingent of about 500 soldiers. According to Myaing Township PDF, the junta army had heavy losses with no fewer than 10 casualties.
