The National Unity Government (NUG)
Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter Scale had hit near Tontay at 12:15 pm Thursday.
In Pakokku Township of Magway Region, the People’s Defence Forces were able to seize control over the junta’s police station in Myit Chay within one hour on Wednesday morning.

In Chauk Township of Magway Region, a captain from the junta’s medical force was caught during a surprise check. Reportedly, he was handed to Magway Regional PDF Command.

Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that through the Steering Council for the Emergence of a Federal Democratic Union, the NUG and ethnic democratic forces have been working collectively for the implementation of sustainable peace in Myanmar.
In Pakokku District of Magway Region, a combined force of the PDFs from 5 townships carried out Operation 9, the first phase of the Upcountry Operation.
