The National Unity Government (NUG)


In Monywa Township, some district battalions under the NUG raided 3 camps of the People’s Security Force on Monday evening. Reportedly, a total of 6 people lost their lives; 3 members of People’s Security Force, a detainee and 2 civilians.


The public have been concerned whether revolutionary forces are aiming their guns at each other. However, the National Unity Consultative Council reviewed that the main cause of conflicts on the ground might be poor chain of command.


In the area under Bago Regional Command (21), no fewer than 25 junta soldiers died in local battles in June, according to Pyi District Battalion (2).


Under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, Madaya Township People’s Defence Force carried out rescue activities for the victims of the junta’s airstrike.


In Pauk Township of Magway Region, the junta army conducted aerial bombings via gyrocopters on 2 local villages on June 26, 28 and 29 respectively.
