Over 100 bodies recovered from Mandalay condo building since March 28 earthquake

Rescue workers told DVB that they have recovered 107 bodies, including seven children, and have saved 52 people from the Sky Villa Condominium in Aungmyaythazan Township of Mandalay Region over the last one month since the 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on March 28.

“We’re still looking for the bodies under the rubble,” a source close to the regime Mandalay City Development Committee told DVB on the condition of anonymity. Most of the survivors are still in hospital receiving medical attention, the source added.
