The National Unity Government (NUG)


  • Magway Federal Unit Interim Government sent a statement of honour on the 50th anniversary of the execution of student leader Salai Tin Maung Oo who was hanged after fighting against the military dictatorship.

  • In Saw Township of Magway Unit, Gantgaw District Battalion (6) called not to use Thigone-Laungshe Road, Painchaung-Laungshe Road and Inbu-Laungshe Road starting from June 25.

  • At 10:00 am Thursday, there was a meeting among Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration-NUG, Magway Federal Unit Interim Government and People’s Administration from Magway Region.

  • In Pakokku Township of Magway Unit, Magway Federal Unit Interim Government provided necessary support and assistance to displaced people.

  • On Wednesday, Deputy Minister for Human Rights-NUG U Aung Kyaw Moe discussed with a delegation led by the Executive Director of US Commission on International Religious Freedom- USCIRF about the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Myanmar.

  • Daw Zin Mar Aung, Minister for Foreign Affairs-NUG, stated that Spring Revolution is intended not only for regaining democracy but also for building a new Myanmar based on equality, justice and delegation of authority among the people.
