Myanmar’s military kills three, injures seven, in Magway’s Salin Township

Junta troops killed at least three people and injured seven others during raids on several villages in Magway Region’s Salin Township over the weekend, local sources said.

Two of the dead were killed by an artillery shell that exploded in Pan Taw Gyi, a village about six miles northeast of the town of Salin. Seven others, including four young girls, were injured.

“A man died on Saturday, while a woman passed away at a hospital in Magway on Sunday,” a representative of the local National Unity Government (NUG) administration told Myanmar Now.
