Myanmar junta paramotor attack kills three civilians, including child, in Taungtha Township

Three civilians, including a five-year-old child, were killed and four others injured after Myanmar’s military junta launched a paramotor bombing raid on Ywa Thit Gone village in Taungtha Township, Mandalay Region, according to local sources.


The attack occurred at around 2:30 am on 21 April, when three paramotors took off from the Meiktila Air Force Base and dropped eight bombs on Ywa Thit Gone village, located in Than Bo village tract.


“In addition to the bombing, the junta forces also used machine guns during the assault. Three people, including a young child, were killed, and four others were wounded, two of them critically,” a local source told Mizzima.
