Myanmar Air Force launches 30-bomb strike on border village in Chin State’s Paletwa Township

Five Myanmar Air Force jet fighters dropped approximately 30 bombs on Meezar village in Chin State’s Paletwa Township on Wednesday.
The strikes caused an unknown number of civilian deaths and injuries along the Kaladan River, directly threatening the primary trade corridor between India’s Mizoram State and territories controlled by the Arakan Army (AA).
Three-day air campaign targeting border trade route
The attack on Meezar marked the third consecutive day of heavy aerial bombardment targeting communities along the cross-border logistics route connecting Lawngtlai district in Mizoram to southern Chin State and Arakan State.
