Junta forces launched two airstrikes using a jet fighter in Gwa Township, Arakan, on the night of June 14, according to local sources.

A local resident stated that the military commission forces dropped bombs from the air on Kyauk Chun Village in Gwa Township twice once at 11:55 PM on June 14, and a second time at 12:03 AM.

The bombing raid reportedly destroyed the village school and the home of U Tin Cho, while also collapsing U Kyaw San Aung’s cowshed and killing one cow.

Previously, on June 8, a navy vessel belonging to the military commission fired at least ten heavy artillery shells targeting the mountainous areas of Kyeintali Town.

Suffering consecutive defeats on the Arakan front, the military commission forces have been throwing tantrums by intentionally launching daily and continuous airstrikes against civilian towns and villages that are entirely unrelated to the military conflict.
