Military Airstrikes Hit Kyeintali Twice, Leaving 1 Civilian Dead and 1 Injured

It is reported that the Military Commission forces launched airstrikes using a jet fighter twice on Kyeintali Town, Gwa Township, Arakan State, on the night of yesterday, September 10, killing one civilian and injuring another.



A jet fighter from the Military Commission forces carried out consecutive bombing runs over Kyeintali Town, dropping bombs once at 9:41 PM and again at 9:46 PM on September 10.



Due to the airstrikes, 81-year-old U Oo Kyaw Khine from Ward No. 1 in Kyeintali Town was struck by bomb shrapnel and died on the spot.



Additionally, 49-year-old U Chit San Maung (aka Chit Pu) from Ward No. 2 sustained shrapnel wounds to his left hip and leg, and is currently receiving emergency medical treatment.



Currently, the Military Commission forces are continuously targeting towns and villages in Arakan State using airstrikes, naval artillery, and heavy weaponry.



Consequently, the Arakkha Government has issued a renewed warning urging the public to remain on high alert against airstrike and artillery dangers and to stay inside bomb shelters.
