Korean advisor issues Open Letter to Myanmar’s National Unity Government’s Foreign Minister

A Korean advisor has issued an Open Letter to the National Unity Government (NUG) Foreign Minister Ms Zin Mar Aung calling for her and the NUG to step up their engagement in the Spring Revolution against the brutal Myanmar military junta.
Here is the text of the Open Letter:
Dear Minister Zin Mar Aung,
I deeply respect your unwavering dedication to the victory of the Spring Revolution.
This month, I visited a medical center in Mae Sot, a Thai border town. As you may already know, this center primarily treats injured soldiers from the PDF. This was my second visit this year. Mae Sot is a unique city located within Thai territory, where Myanmar laborers outnumber Thai residents. Since the military coup on February 1, 2021, and the subsequent civil war, most of the Myanmar people who have come to this area are refugees. Among them are members of the NUG and independent activists.
The wounded soldiers I met and spoke with were in harsh conditions, in wards that barely resembled hospitals, but they remained unyielding. They expressed hope in General Twan Mrat Naing and General Gun Maw, who have emerged as war heroes, but they also emphasized that despite their shortcomings, the NUG remains their only government.
One wounded soldier stressed that, in the absence of tangible support from the international community, writing the history of the revolution is their own responsibility.
