In December, the total of airstrikes increased notably to 119, with the Sagaing, Magway, Rakhine, and Bago regions experiencing the greatest impact.

The statement indicated that the airstrikes targeted schools, monasteries, camps for internally displaced persons, and hospitals, all of which are civilian locations and not military targets. Furthermore, the military commission focused on mining operations of oil and gold, which are considered natural resources.

The military commission employed fighter jets in its aerial missions aimed at civilians.
