Today, around 2:00 PM or slightly after on February 24, the terrorist military council's jet fighter dropped two 300-pound bombs on Yoe Ngu village in Ponnagyun Township from the air, according to received information.
The terrorist jet fighter targeted the area near the market and the tower in Yoe Ngu village, Ponnagyun Township, causing explosions. As a result, at least 17 innocent civilians, including children who were displaced by the war and taking shelter in the village, were killed, according to ground news sources.
In addition, more than 30 people, including children, have been injured, with many sustaining severe wounds.
“We have only recovered this many bodies so far. There are still other bodies that haven’t been recovered yet, and the death toll is high. Since it was dropped directly in the center of the village, what we’ve seen is completely heartbreaking,” said one local rescue worker.
