HDCO Condemns Junta Airstrike on Yoe Ngu Village in Ponnagyun Township that Killed 17 Civilians

The Humanitarian and Development Cooperation Office (HDCO) issued a statement on February 24th, strongly condemning a targeted airstrike by the terrorist fascist military junta on Yoe Ngu Village in Ponnagyun Township, Arakan State, which resulted in the deaths of civilian villagers.
The statement said, "Today, February 24, 2026, at approximately 2:07 PM, the air force of the Myanmar terrorist military council deliberately targeted and carried out an airstrike using a jet fighter, dropping bombs on the market stalls inside Yoe Ngu Village in Ponnagyun Township, Arakan State."
It reported that this deliberate attack on civilians resulted in the immediate deaths of 17 innocent civilians, with approximately 14 others injured. "We vehemently oppose and condemn this cruel act of violence committed by the Myanmar military council against innocent people," the statement added.
