DMO Local PDF Central Committee discusses internal unity and strategies

Central Committee members of the Demoso Local People’s Defense Force (DMO Local PDF) conducted ground field visits to DMO Local battalions and various battalions and companies under the central battalion during the fourth week of August, meeting with troop members to discuss internal unity as well as upcoming military and political strategies, according to a statement released by the DMO Local PDF.

According to the statement, Central Committee members visited various battalions and companies under DMO Local Battalion (1), Battalion (2), Battalion (3), Battalion (4), and the DMO Central Battalion.

During these ground meetings, they directly listened to the needs and challenges faced by the troops and implemented immediate, short-term, and long-term plans to address them, the statement said.

They also listened to the views and opinions of commanders, comrades, and cadres regarding the revolution, holding follow-up discussions by sector, assigning duties, and delegating responsibilities.

The DMO Local PDF Central Committee instructed ground troops to protect the lives, homes, and property of the public, adhere to the military code of conduct, and respect human rights, emphasizing that they are a “People’s Army” born from the people.

The DMO Local PDF said rooting out the dictatorship and building a federal democratic union is their ultimate goal, and that they are currently prioritizing military success as a crucial operation. The Central Committee added that they would integrate military and political strategies to continue fighting alongside the public.

The ground field visit team included DMO Patron Comrade Thar Gyi, Secretary (1) Comrade Nay Toe, Secretary (2) Comrade Twat Pi, Administration and Finance Officer Comrade Set Khaung, Health Officer Comrade Chillux May, and Comrade Khun San.

Sayar Khun Ye Khaung, a Central Committee member of the Kayan National Army (KNA), a revolutionary allied organization, also participated in the ground meetings and exchanged political and military knowledge, according to the DMO Local PDF statement.
