Child killed, two civilians wounded in airstrike on Kyeintali town in Gwa Township

A seven-year-old child was killed, and two civilians were wounded in the airstrike on Kyeintali town, located in Gwa Township in the southern part of Rakhine State near the Ayeyarwady Region.
The individual who has passed away is Maung Chan Pho Thet, aged 7, from Ward No. 1 of Kyeintali town, while the injured were Ko Myat Thura Soe, aged 30, and U Nyan Kyaw, aged 40.
The aerial bombardment on Ward No. 1 of Kyeintali town, Gwa Township, took place at approximately 1:15 p.m. on November 21. The airstrike struck U Nyan Kyaw's house, causing the damage, a local resident reported.
“After enjoying my lunch, I was relaxing at home. The child died from serious wounds. The two adults also sustained severe injuries," he stated.
The Arakan Army (AA) seized Kyeintali town on August 14, 2024, followed by the complete takeover of Gwa township on December 29, 2024.
On the same day, at 4:30 p.m. on November 20, the junta air force dropped two bombs from a fighter jet on the outskirts of Mrauk-U township, resulting in the death of two cows and injuries to two additional cows.
The Myanmar Military Air Force is daily conducting bombings on homes and villages throughout Rakhine State, leading to a rising number of casualties, including women and children.
On the evening of November 17, in Kyaukphyu Township, the terrorist air force conducted a bombing in Taungoo village, resulting in the deaths of 16-year-old Ma Win Su Htay, 74-year-old Daw Ma Aung Tha, and 47-year-old Daw Su Su Ma.
Additionally, at least five individuals, including two schoolgirls, sustained injuries.
