The United League of Arakan /Arakan Army (ULA/AA) announced on 29 December its readiness to address Myanmar’s ongoing internal crises through political dialogue rather than military actions.
In its statement, the ULA/AA highlighted that it now controls 14 of the 17 townships in Rakhine State, leaving only Sittwe, Kyaukphyu, and Manaung under junta control. The group emphasized its willingness to engage in political discussions during this transformative period.
