Acting President visits polling stations in Election Phase 3 in Mandalay

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited polling stations in Mandalay Region where the multi-party democratic general election Phase 3 is being held on the morning of January 25 and met and warmly greeted voters.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by the Commission Secretary and Joint Executive Chief General Ye Win Oo and officials, visited polling stations in Chan Mya Thazi Township and Patheingyi Township in Mandalay Region.
During the inspection, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing observed the matching of voter lists by polling station officials at each polling station and the active participation of voters in voting. He also asked questions and discussed the conditions for voters to vote and the performance of polling station staff, and met and greeted voters.
Elections are the most important thing in a democracy,, and voters must exercise their right to vote and decide the future direction of the country.
Therefore, voters voted overwhelmingly with active, disciplined manner maintaining dinified behaviour of a good citizen without any pressure, at their respective polling stations.
